I bought this car new a few months ago and have truly enjoyed it.. It is built in Australia by Holden and then shipped to the US. When I bought this car the wait was pretty long to get one. It has a 6.2l V8 that came in the C6 Corvettes. It is a great motor and GM has done a great job giving it just enough exhaust howl to make you feel like you are driving a sports car yet quiet enough to knock out a 250 mile trip in comfort. The interior is a huge step in the right direction for GM. I've always been a fan of Chevrolet vehicles but they have always lacked interior sophistication. The SS makes up for it in spades. Very nice interior with AC seats, alcantera leather inserts, sunroof, roomy rear seat, huge trunk, and a great sounding stereo. I am not a smoker and the interior still smell new. I was not a fan of the factory wheels so I replaced them with OZ wheels. I bought them from Tire Rack and they came balanced and I installed them. The wonderful people at TR forgot to install the TPMS in the wheels so that will be done before you pick the car up or I will give you a credit to get it done in your hometown. The wheels look great and since I went with the factory size wheel, the ride and performance on the car is better than factory. No stories as to the condition. It is like it came off the showroom floor only better. I also added a clear bra to the front of the car to protect against summertime bugs in Arkansas. I also have the factory wheels available if you want them instead of the aftermarket wheels.
